Meet Dr. Stefanek
Dale C. Stefanek, DDS
Over the past 30 years of practicing dentistry in Putnam County, I have developed a unique relationship with my patients, many of whom are my neighbors and friends. It is always my goal to treat each patient as though they are a member of my own family, with compassion and respect.
I completed my undergraduate education at Urbana College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in Math and Chemistry with a minor in Biology. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Ohio State University in 1975. For the next two years, I served in the United States Navy as a dentist at Camp Pendleton, CA. While stationed at Camp Pendleton, I went through a rotation program in departments of surgery, prosthetics, and general dentistry. Our goal was to have our troops battle ready, dentally speaking.
I’ve been practicing general dentistry for 37 years. I opened a practice in Kalida in 1979 where I practiced for 22 years before moving to Putnam Medical Park in Glandorf in 2002.
I am very active in the dental community and was a Past President of the Northwestern Ohio Dental Society. I am currently a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce.
A native of Brooklyn, OH, I have lived in the Putnam County area for the past 30 years. My wife, Ann, and I have 4 grown children, Natalie, Andrew, Erin and Brian and they've given us six beautiful grandchildren, Charles, Alexandra, Lillian, Travis, Carson and Delanie. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, boating, and H-D motorcycles.
