- Invisalign® uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets.
- The aligners are made through a combination of Dr. Nigro’s expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology.
- You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
- As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Nigro has prescribed.
- You’ll visit Dr. Nigro about once every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
- Total treatment time averages from nine to 15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

I initially had an appointment for my six month check-up and cleaning. During the check-up, it was discovered that I had chipped a tooth. When I was checking out, the secretary asked if I would want to have the tooth repaired today because they had just had a cancellation. Instead of setting up an appointment, I headed back to a room to have my tooth repaired. The repair went off without any difficulty, and I was leaving the office in a half hour. I want to thank Dr. Nigro and his staff for a very pain free visit and tooth repair. I will definitely be seeing them again in six months for my check-up and cleaning.
