- Invisalign® uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets.
- The aligners are made through a combination of Dr. Nigro’s expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology.
- You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
- As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Nigro has prescribed.
- You’ll visit Dr. Nigro about once every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
- Total treatment time averages from nine to 15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

I had a crown come off prior to leaving on vacation, and I called Dr. Nigro early on Monday morning. He returned my call in a timely manner, and he thought I would be able to wait until Thursday when I was scheduled to return from vacation. Dr. Nigro did see me on Thursday afternoon after my return and did what was necessary to check on the issue with my crown. He did give me options for my situation, and I will be seeing him for my six month check-up in October. If there are any more issues before then, I am to call and get an appointment to check out what is going on.
